Eclectic duo from Olympia, Usa, they released three full lenght albums and the soundtracks of many of the films showed at the Junk Festival, the nomad american independent queer film festival which, this year, will be hosted in Rome thanks to Ladyparty. They play a mix of soul with electronic beats and queer attitude defined by themselves as “ love music with bass heavy dance jams” that it's expected to be amazing live.

Giovane musicista di Strasburgo, dopo aver suonato il synth in varie formazioni locali, si trasferisce a Bruxelles dove da il via ad un progetto solista che la porta da subito ad esibirsi in club e festival in giro per l'Europa. Dal vivo canta, suona chitarra, sintetizzatori, basi elettroniche e suonini vari, producendo un'electro giocosa  e intrigante da qualcuno etichettata come “electro-twist”.  Recentemente ha partecipato, a Nijmegen (Olanda), ad un concerto-tributo  a Klaus Nomi con artisti come Felix Kubin e Puyo Puyo, da cui è stata tratta una compilation. Suona inoltre con Junkie Brewster and the Hoowy Chacha Kookoo Yeahs coi quali ha appena partecipato al Koh Samui world music Festival in Tailandia.

Young musician from Strasbourg, after playing in many local bands she moves to Brussels where starts a solo project that leads her soon to many clubs and festivals in Europe. In her live shows she sings, plays guitar, synth, beats and noises, creating an intriguing, playful electro that some defined as “electro twist”. She recently played at a Klaus Nomi tribute concert in Nijmegen (Netherlands) with artists of the like of Felix Kubin end Puyo Puyo and appears on the compilation that has been realised from the project. She also plays with Junkie Brewster and the Hoowy Chacha Kookoo Yeahs and just cam back from the Koh Samui world music festival in Thailand, where she played with them.

Artista dalle mille risorse, la spagnola Ana Elena Pena spazia dai video alle performance alla musica alla body art. Dopo incursioni rapide nel mondo del fumetto (“A quien ama Eggy Crash?”) e della fotografia (“Mi primera menstruaciòn” e “Del amor y otros martirios” per la rivista Psychonet), Ana debutta come regista di cortometraggi con “Puppyta Sexual” e “De-generaciòn X”. Si interessa poi al feticismo delle bambole come oggetto erotico con la collezione di bambole “Sweets & Needles” esplorando le tematiche dei tabù legati alla sessualità femminile in rapporto all'immaginario collettivo. A Roma si presenta con il progetto musicale “Cenicenta Superstar” che combina, grazie alla collaborazione con artisti come Vanity Bear e Insulina, performance, video, cabaret ed electro pop. Brani come “Insalata de pepino en collegio feminino” o “Sin pecado concebida” sono perle di techno-punk ironico e dissacrante che mai hanno trovato luogo più consono del Ladyparty per essere presentate al pubblico.

Ana Elena Pena is a spanish artist whose “action's range” goes from video to performance to music to body art. Stink Mitt sono MC Jenni Craige madre single che mentre era alla ricerca del padre di uno dei suoi bambini ha incontrato MC Betti Forde. Vogliamo rappresentare e offrire immagini in movimento alle controculture radicali – femminilità molteplici, attraversamenti di genere, gente di colore, trans, proletari, grassi, pelose e chiunque altra/o non sia conforme alla regola. Vogliamo che punks e  spostati prendano possesso dei cinema, dei salotti, dei parchi pubblici e di qualunque altro luogo riusciranno a trovare per proiettare questi corti che sono un po’ trasandati e anche puzzolenti, proprio come noi… e la cosa importante rispetto al farli vedere ai queer di tutto il mondo è che così potremo collegarci tutti insieme attraverso l’arte delle immagini in movimento.

Vive a San Francisco e è stato membro fondatore del Pornova Collective, un gruppo di artisti impegnati nel rendere il sesso un atto esplicito e a fare pornografia artistica, coordinando workshop sul come realizzarla in maniera autogestita, e sulle gioie della sessualità tra persone grasse. Oltre a questo è stato l’ideatore della prima conferenza annuale sulla Sessualità e il Sesso, tenutasi a Olympia nel maggio del 2002. Ha contribuito al festival di musica queer Homo a Go-Go, dirigendo la sezione Malaqueerche del fashion show di fine settimana, oltre a debuttare con il suo personaggio punk rock drag, Slutty Kinney, al drag cabaret che seguiva al festival.  DEVON DEVINE is the curator of Junk,  a travelling indipendent genderqueer film festival touring all over the world, Devon Devine is a multi media cult extravaganza living in Sanf Francisco. He is The founding Member of the Pornova Collective, a group of artists committed to make a sex positive, art minded pornography, and the creator of the first annual Olympia Sexuality And Gender Conference in May 2002. He contributed to Olympia's homegrown queer music festival, Homo a Go Go by directing the Malaqueerche portion of the weekend's fashion show as well as debuting his punk rock drag persona, Slutty kinney at the after hours Drag Show. Devon also have a starring role in the acclaimed short film , A Tale Of two Plushies. Devon also coordinated workshops on making D.I.Y. sex positive pornogrpahy and on fat positive sexuality.
